Anotace
Zámerom tejto práce je podrobná analýza mien v románe Meno Vetra od Patricka Rothfussa. Pozornosť sa venuje vrstvám náznakov ktoré môžu rôzne druhy mien nosiť, rovnako ako spôsobu ktorým sú mená v naratíve uvedené. Ostatné aspekty mien ktoré budeme brať v úvahu sú motivácia, význam a sila mien a ich funkcie v príbehu.
Abstract
The objective of this thesis is a thorough analysis of names in the novel The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss. The attention is paid to the layers of implications that different kinds of names can carry, as well as to the means of introducing the names in narrative. Other aspect of names that are taken into consideration are the motivation, meaning, and power behind them, and their functions in the story.
