The goal of this thesis is to develop complete study materials for the course “Modern Development of User Interfaces” (PV247) at the Faculty of Informatics. The main problem addressed by this work is the obsolescence of the existing study materials, unclear structure of individual lessons, and lacking coverage of modern frontend technologies and concepts. The goal of the theoretical part is to perform a detailed analysis of the changes and new technologies in the field of frontend development that have emerged in recent years. This analysis includes: - Assessing the evolution of the course materials over the past two years and comparing them to the current state of frontend development. - Identifying new technologies and concepts that are either completely absent from the current materials or only marginally covered and should be included in the course. - Evaluating the advantages and disadvantages of newer technologies and their utilization in comparison to traditional approaches. In the practical part, a new course concept for PV247 is created, along with the development of new study materials for this course. This includes: - Updating and, if necessary, creating entirely new lessons and materials, structuring and providing sample exercises. - Based on subsequent decisions, create several homework assignments that reflect the discussed technologies and concepts. - Developing assignments and minimum requirements for the final team project, including its technical specifications and the work approach for it. Furthermore, a web application will be developed to serve as primary study material for students. The application will also allow for logging in, where students will then see in their profile the number of points they have received for homework assignments, plus feedback on their submitted work.
