Zadání práce
The aim of this thesis is to analyze, implement and evaluate performance of selected authenticated encryption algorithms on JavaCard platform. The objective is to provide authenticated encryption facility on JavaCard before native support will be available. The work will:
  • Select a subset of authenticated encryption schemes submitted to the CAESAR competition (https://competitions.cr.yp.to/caesar.html).
  • Implement 5 authenticated encryption schemes on JavaCard.
  • Prepare test cases to ensure correctness of iplementation by comparing with the reference implementations submitted to the CAESAR competition.
  • Optimise the algorithms for mapping on resource-constrained embedded systems such as JavaCard.
  • Evaluate performance of authenticated encryption schemes on real card.
  • Make the implementation available on Github with sufficient documentation.
