This thesis introduces a purpose-built web application tailored for neuroscientific research at MAFIL/CEITEC. The application focuses on enhancing the efficiency, transparency and security of data acquisition procedures during neurological examinations conducted on volunteers using medical devices like MRI. In the MAFIL laboratory (CEITEC), a number of research studies are performed, which also include neurological examinations of probands (volunteers) on medical devices (e.g. magnetic resonance imaging). During these measurements, the proband cooperates closely and follows the instructions of the measurement operator. One of the operator's duties is to follow a predefined procedure and keep a detailed record of the measurement process. This protocol is an important source of data in the later stages of the scientific evaluation of individual measurements or the processing of large sets of measurements.
The student's task is to design and implement an extension of the existing web application for the registration of measurements with new functionality - management of measurement templates, according to which it will be possible to validate the currently measured data. Based on the specifications and information from MAFIL laboratory staff, the student will research possible solutions and design a suitable data model for storing measurement templates. Subsequently, the student will implement a tool to define and display the templates. The stored templates will be used in the implementation of the validation of the ongoing measurements.
An important feature of the developed application will be a clear, responsive graphical user interface with fast response (it is assumed that part of the logic will be implemented on the client side). The application will be interfaced with the existing MAFILDB laboratory information system via a REST API.
