The goal of this thesis is to analyze, design and deploy Masaryk University authentication with required identities to Microsoft Office 365 cloud environment. Thesis description
The aim of this thesis is to analyse, design and deploy Masaryk University authentication with required identities to Microsoft Office 365 cloud environment, regarding to the current university environment and minimize impact to users of Masaryk University.
Goal of this thesis is that users of Masaryk University will be able to use authentication with primary and secondary password in Microsoft Office 365 cloud environment. Advantage of single authentication is to be able to use links between main university information systems, without the need of dual authentication.
Part of this thesis will aim to create process of user migration within existing cloud tenant to new configuration with minimum impact to daily work. These features will help to establish Microsoft Office 365 as main communication platform on Masaryk University.
- Student addresses the following points of entry:
- Get familiar with existing environment and underlying technologies
- Analyse the current usage of Microsoft Office 365 environment at Masaryk University and single sign on options
- Design an architecture of integration an identity infrastructure with Microsoft Office 365 Single Sign-On by best practice
- Implement proof of concept based on performed analysis and design
- Create plan of migration and deployment to production
