Abstract

In my work based on the novel Jane Eyre, I informed the reader about Charlotte Brontë, events and people who influenced her life and her work. Then I shortly summed up the content of the novel Jane Eyre and its realistic, romantic and feminist features. These all was to get reader into the context and provide him or her with useful information if he or she forgot or does not know about the novel or its author. The core of my work is in the comparison of author's real life and the novel. I tried to find the characters, places and events in the novel which would mirror Charlotte's family and friends, places of living and situations that Charlotte lived through. As a managed to find many links, I arranged them for reader's easier orientation in the text according to the places that Jane as a literary character went through (Gateshead, Lowood, Thornfield, Marsh End, Ferndean). Finally I described the resemblance between Charlotte Brontë and her heroine Jane Eyre. …víceméně
