Anotace

Táto diplomová práca sa zaoberá doktrínou OSN o zodpovednosti chrániť, skúma úlohu nestálych členov Bezpečnostnej rady OSN v rámci rokovaní o rezolúciách zameraných na prípad sýrskej občianskej vojny, konkrétne ich názory a postoje k zodpovednosti chrániť, ktoré sa odrážajú v rétorike ich predstaviteľov v priebehu trvania vojny až do roku 2020, rozširujúc diskusiu o účinnosti BR OSN ako orgánu OSN, ako aj o súčasnom postavení zodpovednosti chrániť v globálnom kontexte.

This thesis takes a look at the Responsibility to Protect doctrine of the UN, exploring the role of non-permanent United Nations Security Council members within negotiations of resolutions focusing on the case of the Syrian Civil War, specifically their views and attitudes towards R2P reflected in the rhetoric of their representatives throughout the duration of the war up until 2020, enhancing the …více
