Abstract
This thesis investigates implicit multi-party protocols based on Schnorr signature scheme and their benefits to the Bitcoin ecosystem. Firstly, the work introduces the Schnorr signature scheme, subsequently, several multi-party constructions that produce Schnorr signatures are described, and proposed ways of Schnorr signatures' adoption to Bitcoin are discussed. - Survey existing literature for protocols utilizing Schnorr signatures
- Analyse the planned applications of Schnorr signatures in Bitcoin network
- Design and implement prototype use of Schnorr signatures for Bitcoin transactions on the smartcards with JavaCard platform.
