The SAP company creates reconciliation programs, one of which is RAABST02, which serves to show inconsistencies between General Ledger (GL) and Asset Accounting (AA) in the ECC, a SAP ERP software. While customers migrate to a newer version, it is obligatory to clear all the differences between GL and AA. However, the current tool provides no other information than the difference in amount on account level in current year. Finding the root cause is time consuming and ineffective for the customers, consultants as well as SAP Development Support.

The aim of this thesis is to provide additional functionality to the RAABST02 tool and enhance the user interface, which will enable easier identification of the root cause of the inconsistency and a more effective workflow. The student will program the requested extensions and describe the design process. The student is expected to work independently, and consult colleagues when necessary.
