This dissertation thesis focuses on parental involvement of Russian families in children education in Czech schools. Fishel & Ramirez (2005) define the term parental involvement as the participation of parents in educational processes and activities, which affect child upbringing, in relation to cognitive and personal development of their children, and promote their academic and social well-being. …more
