V súčasnosti, viac a viac technológií závisí na open-source projektoch. Je čoraz viac potrebné odhadnúť úroveň budúceho vývoja týchto závislostí. Cieľom tejto práce je vyvinúť model strojového učenia ktorý odhadne pravdepodobnosť že repozitár bude v budúcnosti aktívne vyvíjaný.
