The purpose and hypothesis of this diploma thesis is to survey and explore relations of EU to radical islamist movements, especially Hamas, to compare contemporary approaches with the past approaches to radical Islamist movements (mainly in the light of democratization of Arab world and approach of EU to Israeli-Palestinian conflict). This first sample of literature should give us different view of the Islamic radicalism mainly focuses on the HAMAS as an ambiguous organization. We will also be able to look at the emergence of the movement especially by analysing the trouble within the radical Islam and the struggles for power which are spread in the movement. Moreover, we will have a look to the European politic toward HAMAS and the perception of the European society especially French one face to the Islam Radicalism. Finally we will try to define some potential issue for the future and to analyze the different option for the actors as Arab States, the European Union and Israel. Hypothesis questions: What is the perception of Islam in Europe and How the people easily make the confusion by a lack of information by linking Islam to radicalism. How Hamas emerged and has been able to become the most important organization in Palestine and to reach the Power? How Hamas through the development of charitable societies has built certain popularity within the Palestinian people and an ambiguous position within the European actors? Is it the radical policy of HAMAS toward the State of Israel which enable it important credibility and support? How HAMAS through the charitable activity hide a war network to participate in the spread of terrorism? Which are and will be the new stakes and challenges of the European Union face to the threat which represents the Radical Islamism organizations?
