Synthetic lethality via DNA damage and CHK1 inhibition in the context of anti-cancer therapy
Studium synteticky letální kombinace DNA poškození a CHK1 inhibice v kontextu protinádorové terapie
Abstract
Využití chemoterapeutik v léčbě nádorových onemocnění vede k usmrcení nejen nádorových, ale i zdravých buněk. Navíc, během léčby často dochází k vývoji rezistence na dané protinádorové léčivo. Hledání nových léčebných přístupů, směřuje k efektivnímu a selektivnímu usmrcení nádorových buněk. Nový přístup v protinádorové léčbě představuje koncept tzv. syntetické letality. Prvním cílem této práce bylo …more
Abstract
Usage of chemotherapy in anti-cancer treatment results not only in death of cancer cells but also of normal cells. Moreover, this therapy leads often to development of resistance against anti-cancer drugs. Investigation of new therapeutic possibilities is focused on effective and selective killing of tumour cells while the normal cells are protected. One of the new approaches in anti-cancer treatment …more
