Skúma industriálne stavby, historické budovy a iné výstavby, ktoré ovplyvnili generácie ľudí. Teoretická časť práce je venovaná téme opustených miest vo vybranom regióne, ako aj vymedzenie žánru. Neobývané a zanedbané budovy predstavujú nielen sociálne problémy pre mesto a jeho obyvateľov. Súčasťou práce je aj charakteristika cieľového média Denníka N na základe s rozhovormi s členmi redakcie. Cieľom reportáží je zobraziť tému v kontexte mestského rozvoja, historických bariér, nostalgie alebo odporu obyvateľov.

A series of journalistic reports looks at the issue of abandoned buildings and unused places in the Slovak region of horná Nitra. It examines industrial buildings, historic buildings and other constructions that have influenced generations of people. The theoretical part of the work is devoted to the theme of abandoned places in the selected region, as well as the definition of the genre. Uninhabited and neglected buildings represent not only social problems for the city and its inhabitants. The thesis also includes a description of the target media Dennik N based on interviews with members of the editorial staff. The aim of the reports is to show the topic in the context of urban development, historical barriers, nostalgia, or resistance of residents.
