The focus of this study is to assess The Nation Builders Corps (NABCO) a policy initiative implemented in Ghana to transition post-secondary school graduates into the labor market. Tertiary students invest a lot of money into their education, and it becomes an issue if after graduation they still struggle to transition into the labor market. Several governments have failed to come up with effective measures to address Ghana's graduate unemployment problem. In October 2018 the government Of Ghana commissioned The Nation Builders Corps (NABCo) as an initiative to address graduate unemployment in the country. The objective of NABCo is to provide temporary employment to graduates, improve their skills and employability, improve public service delivery and revenue mobilization, and improve access to basic public services. By the end of this research study, I expect to find answers to the question; has the Nation Builders Corps (NABCO) Program achieved its aim of addressing graduate unemployment issues in Ghana? The criteria for assessing this policy initiative will be based on the effectiveness of the policy since its implementation. A qualitative research design will be used for this study. A case study approach will be adopted. Data will be collected through semi-structured interviews and questionnaires. The main research question is, did the NABCO program achieve its aim of addressing graduate unemployment in Ghana?
