Thesis objective: This research aims to propose a novel idea of integrating circular economy strategies with agile project management concepts to mitigate food waste. The study seeks to identify the synergies between agile methodologies and circular economy principles in improving food waste management, enhancing resource efficiency, and promoting sustainable practices in the food supply chain.
Procedure and methods used: The research will use a case study method, focusing on a company within the food industry that is applying agile project management and potentially applying circular economy strategies to reduce food waste. The study will use qualitative methods through interviews with experts in agile project management within the selected company to understand how agile project management is applied alongside circular economy strategies for food waste management.
