The aim of the thesis is to develop a system for annotating scanned facial images. The system will allow uploading image data representing human faces and will enable interactive manipulation of this data. It will provide an interface that allows forensic experts to add annotations describing the somatoscopic features of the face. For annotation, the system will offer several feature atlases that experts can use as a basis for creating specific annotations. The system will support the export and import of annotations and will also facilitate the process of reviewing the created annotations (annotation and its verification). The practical part of the thesis will include the implementation of the system as a web application with complete source code. The application will be delivered as a module within the CoPAS platform.
