Pedagogical Activities
  • Linear algebra, algebraic topology, algebraic geometry, functional analysis, computational geometry.
  • MSc.-thesis supervised in algebraic topology, linaer algebra, computational geometry.
Scientific and Research Activities
  • My diploma thesis concerned nonlinear functional analysis. My first papers were devoted to linear differential equations and functional equations. Since 1990 the main area of my interest has been algebraic topology. I dealt with the existence of various structures in vector bundles and the characterisation of low dimensional vector bundles over CW-complexes of dimension less than 10. Moreover I was interested in the ring structure of integer cohomology and K-theory of homogeneous and classifying spaces. In the last years I have been involved in the research concerning algorithmic solvability of problems in homotopy theory.
