Course objectives
The course aims to strengthen the competencies of students in the field of special needs intervention. They will learn to use basic techniques for intervention at the individual/group level, focusing on a child at risk with challenging behaviour in terms of family, school, and institutional education.
Learning outcomes
After successfully passing the course, the student will know how to apply intervention if the work is on the system/group/individual level.

  • - Inclusive trends in Intervention - the child's educational needs
  • - The role of the concept of resilience and inclusion in special education intervention
  • - Specifics of Intervention in the context of different needs of the target group: internalized behaviour disorders/Externalized behaviour disorders
  • - Intervention approaches - perspectives on how to approach behaviour. Intervention methods - forms, content.

  • - Multidisciplinary collaboration in Intervention. Integrative approach.
