- SOUHLAS
Czech for Exchange Students is aimed at Masaryk University international students who wish to learn the basics of Czech language and learn about Czech culture. It is also open to all foreigners who want to master basic communication in Czech. The course will help easier integration into the life at the university and the city of Brno. The instruction will mainly focus on practical use of the language and on the communication in everyday situations as well as the university setting. - Course Enrolment Limitations
- The course is also offered to the students of the fields other than those the course is directly associated with.

- Course objectives
- The instruction will mainly focus on practical use of the language and on the communication in everyday situations as well as the university setting.
- Learning outcomes
- Students will:
- be able to communicate in common situations at the university and in everyday life at a basic level;
- gain knowledge about the Czech culture and society. - Teaching methods
- interaction, conversation, group work, pair work, individual work, using digital tools, homework
- Assessment methods
- Active participation. Students who would like to get the credits have to pass the final test and oral exam and 70 % presence is required.

The Thursday group (10:00–11:30 ) is intended primarily for native speakers of Slavic languages. We kindly ask speakers of other languages to register in other groups. Speakers of Slavic languages can of course join the other groups too if the time is not convenient.
Students will be enrolled in the course only after paying for the course at the MU business center and after approval by an authorized person when the minimum capacity of the course is met.
