Course objectives
Management Coaching The main objective of the course is to introduce the Management Coaching as an important component of effective human facilitation, focused on development of potencial and performance improvement of teams and individuals. Graduates will gain the essential theoretical knowledge about coaching, understanding the principles of coaching and how to put them into practice. They will learn about selected tools and techniques of managerial coaching. - Introduction to the course, definition of coaching, determination of different coaching approaches, differences between different coaching approaches /systemic coaching, archive coaching, result coaching/. - Explanation of the differences bettwen coaching, mentoring, counseling and therapy. - Coach personality, emotional intelligence, theory of motivation, effect of EQ on dynamics and team cooperation. - Fundamentals of managerial and effective couching, getting in contact with a coachee, types of feedback, description of coaching phases. - Goal setting, basic coaching tools - GROW, SMARTER, Scale, levels of Learning and Chase. - Selected techniques and methods for coaching individuals and teams.

  • Introduction to the course, definition of couching, explanation of the difference between couching, mentoring, advising, and training
  • Psychology of couching, personality of couch, emotional intelligence, theory of motivation and theory of change, barriers to change
  • Fundaments of managerial and effective couching, rapport - establishing a contact with a coachee, backtracking, types of feedback, form of a coaching meeting, description of phases of couching and training Techniques to surpass psychological barriers during coaching
  • Team couching and coaching approach to team management, fundaments of team cooperation, phases of team development, roles in teams, dynamics, team cooperation techniques
  • Techniques and methods for couching individuals and couching teams, method of strategic planning by Walt Disney, formation of team vision, stockholder analysis, logical levels by Roberts Diltse
