Course objectives
The First Insights into Business English I, Section A – the course provides students with the opportunity to access the first half of the study materials created to assist students in successful completion of the English exam (language 1). Section A contains the first two blocks of the total number of four (blocks 3 and 4 are dealt with separately in Section B). As to its topic each block covers three units of the First Insights into Business Coursebook; structurewise it copies the exam test but differs in the number of items tested. For Vocabulary, Translation and Grammar it exploits and further expands the material presented in the First Insights into Business Coursebook. For Listening and Letter it uses outside sources of intermediate level.
