Course objectives
At the end of this course, students should be able to activly use the theories of infinite series, metric spaces, line integrals, elementary ordinary differential equations and functions of complex variable, in solving (simple) examples.
Syllabus
  • - functional and power series
  • - Fourier series
  • - line integral, Green's theorem
  • - improper integral, parameter-dependent integral
  • - implicit functions
  • - basics of the theory of complex functions of the complex variable, residue theory
  • - elementary methods for solving of ordinary differential equations of the first order
  • - elementary methods for solving of ordinary differential equations of the n-th order with constant coefficients
