Course objectives
The course is about strategic management in the area of enterprise information services building and development.
Main objectives can be summarized as follows:
to understand information services implementation from the customer point-of-view;
to understand project management in the IT domain;
to understand principles of organization management;
to learn basic information services implementation principles and methods;
to learn the information strategy creation proces;
to understand program and portfolio management and management of systems and services integration.
Syllabus
  • Aims:
  • To explain the problem of information services implementation into organisation from the customer point of view.
  • To explain principles of interrelated set of projects management and how to use and evaluate records of process progress and of actual state of products and services.
  • What is a set of interrelated projects when complex information services implementation is processed.
  • Planning and control of information strategy development project
  • Planning and control of a set of interrelated projects of information strategy realization.
  • Chaos, rules and strategy in managerial processes.

Assessment methods
lectures, class discussion, homeworks,reading;
For exam a homework is required consisting in five plans of a selected project. The exam can have a written part and an oral part.
