Abstract
The main objective of the course is to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the fundamental principles of movement in seniors with health limitations and to develop practical skills necessary for the preparation and implementation of exercise programs designed for this target group. The course emphasizes the integration of theoretical knowledge and practical experience so that students are able to communicate effectively and sensitively with older adults and address various situations that may arise during physical activity.
Furthermore, the course aims to expand students’ competencies in the areas of physical fitness assessment, data handling, and interpretation, equipping them with the ability to apply the acquired knowledge and skills in practical settings as well as in scientific research.
