Abstract
Complex planning, organization and implementation of outdoor adventure
Learning outcomes
Student will be able to:
- define and describe the basic principles of organizing outdoor activities.
- apply your knowledge and organize outdoor adventure
- evaluate an outdoor event
Key topics
  • Participation and contribution to the organization of selected outdoor events with SEL (social emotional learning) content within a selected sports/tourism/other area, e.g.:
  • - Bouldering and mountaineering/skiing and ski mountaineering, Cycling and cycling/Canoeing and water tourism/Organization of tourist events in a travel agency/Management and organization of escape games/Organization of school events and courses/etc. - of your choice
Approaches, practices, and methods used in teaching
practical schooling - workshop lecture
Method of verifying learning outcomes and course completion requirements
- 80% attendance
- seminar project (group of three) with a specific goal for a specific selected target group
- written reflection on one's own participation/experience at an outdoor event (lecturer/participant/...)
- final knowledge test
