Course objectives
The goal of thiscourse is to present the field of physiotherapy and to explain its importance for prevention and specific therapy within comprehensive rehabilitation, making students familiar with basic division of the field of physiotherapy, basic terms and rehabilitation approaches. In addition the course provides a complex survey of specific physiotherapeutic concepts and methods, fundamental information on their development, basis, main principles, implementation in practice and indications. This knowledge should be used to broaden professional horizons of physiotherapy students and to motivate them to follow-up studies within specialized postgraduate courses.
