Abstract
The goal of thiscourse is to present the field of physiotherapy and to explain its importance for prevention and specific therapy within comprehensive rehabilitation, making students familiar with basic division of the field of physiotherapy, basic terms and rehabilitation approaches. In addition the course provides a complex survey of specific physiotherapeutic concepts and methods, fundamental information on their development, basis, main principles, implementation in practice and indications. This knowledge should be used to broaden professional horizons of physiotherapy students and to motivate them to follow-up studies within specialized postgraduate courses.

The English e-learning course of Introduction to physiotherapy – propaedeutics I does not replace the Czech version of the classroom-based instruction of the Introduction to physiotherapy – propaedeutics I course.
Study materials will be available from September 15, 2014. In the 2014 autumn semester the test may be taken any time from 8th December to 19th December 2014. The test may be taken three times (the first one is a proper term, the following two are retakes). It is not necessary to sign up for the test.
