Course objectives
The aim of subject is to provide knowledge about specific forms and methods of development of strength abilities. Students will be educate, so they have orientation in variability, efect, benefits and risks in selected strength excersises in context with age and perfomance specifics, but also in context with sport discipline for which the training is planned.
Learning outcomes
After successful completion of the subject Track and Field I student will be able to:
to apply adequate excersises for development of strength skills in different age and perfomance categories.
to apply different strength resources of specific and no- specific character on various sports and disciplines
to present actual recomendation in area of application of resources, methods and forms using in strength training

Teaching methods
Practical excersises with theoretical lectures.
Assessment methods
The credit is composed of two parts. The first part is a successful presentation according to the assignment and the teacher's instructions in seminars on the assigned topic, either alone or in pairs. The second part of the credit is the filming and submission of a recorded video with a description of a training unit for a selected athlete according to the assignment and the teacher's instructions. Credit is awarded if the quality requirement of the presentation in the seminars and the quality requirement of the submitted videotape are met according to the instructor's guidelines. Instructions are given in the interactive course syllabus.
