- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to introduce students with basic concepts in the field of kinanthropology, gymnastic terminology of physical exercises without equipment, with use of equipment (short poles, ball, skipping rope) and on apparuts (bench, Swedish box, ladders), and its English equivalents. Another aim of the course is to learn students graphic recording of movement and use the skills in practice.
- Learning outcomes
- The student will be able to:
- know basic concepts in the field of kinanthropology;
- understand the relationships between kinanthropological disciplines;
- use this knowledge in practice correctly;
- know and apply anatomical and gymnastic terminology and its English equivalents in the physical education process. - Syllabus
- 1. Basic kinanthropological terms (kinanthropology, sport, physical culture, movement culture, game, etc.) and their context in Czech and English.
- 2. Basic kinanthropological disciplines, relationships between them and theoretical starting points of kinanthropology.
- 3. Nomenclature of exercises without equipment: introduction to the issue, history, graphic motion record.
- 4. Vocabulary of exercises without equipment. Positions of the whole body - stances, kneeling.
- 5. Positions of the whole body - sitting, lying down, supports.
- 6. Positions and movements of body parts.
- 7. Terminology of exercises with equipment: jump ropes, short poles, balls.
- 8. Terminology of exercises on secondary equipment: Swedish box, benches, ladders.
- 9. English terminology used in the physical education process.
- 10. Anatomical nomenclature of movements in joints.
