Course objectives
The aim of the course is to understand the basic etiopathogenetic conditions of the organism and selected diseases with a focus on civilizational weakening within the current concept of genetic predisposition and epigenetic dynamics. The graduate of the subject will also be able to think creatively about the possible consequences of the influence of movement activities on the human organism, especially in the field of biological effects on individual systems.
Learning outcomes
A graduate of the course will be able to:
- explain the issue of hypokinesia in relation to possible systemic changes in the organism and their consequences on health;
- list and describe the changes that occur in the organism from the point of view of pathophysiology as a result of an inappropriate lifestyle;
- to recommend basic exercise and biochemical tests in relation to possible weakening resulting from hypokinesia.
