Course objectives
Teaching this course is to provide students the opportunity to gain knowledge of buildings and structures human musculoskeletal system that are needed for the study of related subjects.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course students should be able to:
- describe the anatomical structures of the human musculoskeletal system;
- explain the functions of individual parts of the locomotor system;
- use this knowledge to create an integral view of human musculoskeletal system.
Syllabus
  • Lectures:
  • 01. Introduction to Anatomy - cell, tissue, terminology.
  • 02. Bones - structure types.
  • 03. Axial skeleton (skull, spine, pelvis), upper limb skeleton, skeleton legs.
  • 04. Connection of bones, joints - Components, types, movements, individual joints.
  • 05. Muscles - structure, component types. Muscles of the head, neck, back and abdomen (including motor function).
  • 06. The muscles of the upper extremity, lower extremity muscles (including motor function).
  • Seminars:
  • - thematically follow lectures.
