Abstract
The aim of this course is to gain theoretical knowledge in comprehensive rehabilitation patients in traumatology, surgery and orthopedics. Students will become familiar with current kinesioterapy approaches that will subsequently be applied to clinical practice.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course students should be able to:
- theoretical considerations in the field of medical rehabilitation in confrontation with clinical condition and medical findings;
- practical application of kinesiotherapeutic strategies and methodologies in traumatology, surgery and orthopedics;
- establish a short and long term rehabilitation plan;
- evaluate the effect of physiotherapy intervention and overall rehabilitation treatment;
- other considerations related to follow-up (medical) treatment and the process of coordinated rehabilitation.
