Course objectives

At the end of the course students should be able to: know basic approaches of environmental ethics;
explain relationship between environmental problems and physical culture;
constitute their own attitude to problems of environmental ethics;

• Environmental ethics and its opponents (sociobiology, neoliberal economy, evolutionary ontology);
• Biocentric environmental ethics;
• Ecocentric environmental ethics;
• Anthropocentric environmental ethics;
• Deep ecology;
• Social environmental ethics;
• Zoocentric environmental ethics;
• Theocentric environmental ethics;
• Evolutionary ontology;
