Abstract
The course provides basic information about the functioning of the Integrated rescue system, introduces the basic principles of accident and health damage prevention (risk prevention) in children and adults, and expands theoretical and practical knowledge of first aid, including drowning issues and the theory of rescuing a drowning person.
Learning outcomes

After completing the course, students will be able to:

• understand the issues surrounding emergency medical services

• perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation and first aid in accordance with the 2025 Guidelines

• respond to drowning incidents in a practical manner, taking their own safety into account

• respond to car accidents in a practical manner, taking their own safety into account

• identify and assess risks to children and adults that may cause serious injury and damage to health in everyday life, at work, in sports facilities, in schools, etc.

• discuss and systematically approach the prevention of injuries, damage to health, and the resolution of emergencies in cooperation with the Integrated Rescue System
