Course Enrolment Limitations
The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
Subject wants to give information about taxonomy of combatives and to show ways, how it can by used in sports, physical education and mostly selfdefence.
Syllabus
  • 1. Definition of combatives and its taxonomy 2. Basic combative skills: stands, movings, guards 3. Fallings: techniques, biomechanics, psychology, philosophy 4. Basic combatives: pulling, pushing, defiances 5. Combative games: most using form of education in combatives 6. Basic martial arts techniques: strikes, kicks, throws, joint locks, chokes etc. 7. Applications of combatives: selfdefence (defence against unarmed and armed attacker)
Assessment methods (in Czech)
To give basic instruction in combatives. Student will chose any technique from combatives.
