Course objectives
Building students' legal knowledge and the acquisition of basic knowledge in   position athletes, referees, coaches and officials (the athletes)   in the Czech legal order, the EU legal order and the initial position   natural and legal persons in   multinational sports associations.
Syllabus
  • - Legal and social aspects of the influence of European law (EU law) and international sports law for sports organizations in the country. Effect of ECJ case law. (European Court of Justice)- Legal and social aspects of the legal effect of CR on relations within the autonomous status of sport in the country. Application of common law to athletes and sports clubs and organizations in the country. Contractual relations professional and semi-professional athletes, including minors, athletes, sports officials and others in sports.- Legal aspects of the legal status of a sports club - association and companies. Federal law and its position in the new Civil Code. Basic laws of sports associations and clubs. Legal forms of sports clubs.- Legal aspects of business in sport and tax issues in sport. Legal and social aspects of the contractual or professional status. semi-professional athletes in relation to labor, civil and commercial law. Fundamentals of business and trade law. Advertising and sponsorship in sport. Financial and tax law.- Legal and social aspects of sport in general liability (school physical education and sport, federal organized sport, commercially operated sports) and civil and criminal liability in the sport. The issue of doping in sport.- Economic resources of Czech sports and individual sports. Legal and social aspects of the impact of institutions insolvent law enforcement and economic problems in the case of clubs leading to their destruction and decay. The issue of the impact of the economic crisis in the running of sports clubs with a major impact on social status and ensuring athletes.- Legal aspects of the settlement of disputes in sport. Possibilities of legal protection in sport in the Republic in the EU and the world. Legal, judicial and alternative ways of resolving legal disputes in sports, including arbitration and arbitration of sports in the country. International Court of Arbitration for Sport CAS and its position.

The course is taught through lectures and related seminars. The lectures are explained the basic themes of the lectures. The workshops are discussed specific examples.

After completion of lectures and exercises the student will receive credit from   object. The course is completed or written. an oral examination.
