Course objectives
The aim of the course Fundamentals of diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders IV. is to acquaint the students with manual diagnostic and therapeutic techniques. At the same time, students should master basic manual techniques and be able to professionally and successfully applied in practice, and thus their ability to actively search for pathology and to choose a suitable method of therapy. Students also manage to perform client education and training autotherapy. Block IV. also combines all the acquired knowledge and skills in the final whole.
Syllabus
  • Practical applications of diagnosis and therapy of soft and mobilization techniques for functional disorders of musculoskeletal system - the completion of the course enriched with pathological chain reactions. Ontogenetic aspects in diagnostics and therapy. Basics of vertebro-visceral diagnostics and therapy.

Teaching methods
Training is a practical form. Students are first introduced to the issue theoretically, it is also demonstrated their technique correctly and follows its training. During the training of the students and the teacher is checking the correct implementation of correction. Teaching and training is carried out in small study groups.
Assessment methods
Successful development of the curriculum is a test condition for   oral exam. Practical demonstration of skills is a prerequisite to pass the examination.
