Course objectives
The aim of the course is to deepen the theoretical knowledge, to improve and extend the practical skills acquired by completing the bk/bp 2048 subject, which are necessary for safe movement in the rock climbing terrain.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course the student will be able to:
- control climbing terminology
- work correctly with the belaying equipement and use proper belaying technique
- apply the theoretical principles of climbing
- move safely in rock climbing terrain
Syllabus
  • Safeness, basic terminology, manipulation, climbing styles, equipment for rock climbing
  • Rope manipulation, basic knotts, protection gears
  • Moving and lead protection.
  • Leading, protection, rope manupulation on anchor, descending
