Course objectives
The main goals of the educational process involve: - the improvement of the locomotive abilities and fitness - the impact on the positive approach towards sports activities considered as the protection against conflicts, civilization diseases and stress - the support of students healthy lifestyle The aim of the Wellness Fit Programme is to support a healthy lifestyle with the help of active sports programme and to introduce and maintain a preventive and educational significance of physical activities and to support cultural awareness and instructional activities due to a tour around the spa town of Luhačovice situated in a beautiful countryside in the Bílé Karpaty and to taste the curative spa springs Vincentka, Amandka, Ottovka, dr.Šťastný. Students will get a great emotional experience of an active move thanks to the programme.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, students will be able: - to perform independently complex exercises based on functional meridians while keeping correct posture and breathing - to have a new experiences with different types of physical actvities - pilates, yoga, aquaerobic, core trainning, nordic walking, Zumba, Movida, interval and metabolic training etc.
Syllabus
  • Schedule: 19 hours (25x45min)...16 hours of exercising + 1,5 hour of theory about healthy lifestyle + 2 hours of relaxing programme - sauna and jacuzzi Friday (7hours): 1hour of Pilates, 3 hours of Nordic Walking + outdoor fitness around the lake in Pozlovice, 2 hours of Aqua Gymnastics and Aerobics, Saturday (9hours): 1 hour of Fitness Yoga, 5 hours of Nordic Walking + hiking near and around Luhačovice, 1 hour of Aqua Gym and Aerobics, 1 hour of Movida or Core Training, + 2hours of relaxing programme – jacuzzi and sauna Sunday (3h): 1 hour of Pilates, 1 hour of Bodyform + Functional Training, 1 hour of Keep-fit Swimming

Going individually. What is on: The department University Sports Centre offers for students at MU a three-day active course Wellness Fit Programme. The aim is to introduce the basic principles of healthy lifestyle and to support their active implementation into everyday life, also to enable the students to participate actively in different kinds of exercise which help them to harmonize both physical and mental capacity. The course includes the lessons of Nordic Walking, Pilates, Body Balance, Fitness Yoga, Relaxing Exercise, Aqua Aerobics, Keep-fit Swimming, Table Tennis and basics of dancing aerobic activities: Movida. In case of nice weather inline skating is involved (you need to have your own inline skates). The other goal is to introduce and show this beautiful area in the form of a guided tour round the spa town of Luhačovice located in the Bílé Karpaty and to taste the local healing springs Vincentka, Amandka, Ottovka, dr.Šťastný. Price does NOT include: transport (the way how to get there individually will be described and send to the registered students by common email before the beginning of the course), the spa fee of 15,-Czech crowns/1 adult/1 night (the spa fee will be paid at the hotel reception).
