Course objectives
The aim is to present crucial periods of thought in europian thinking development, to explain some important philosophical conceptions and to show their influence on contemporary society and its problems. Seminar classes will serve as introduction to the actual problems of global civilization and sport.
Learning outcomes
On successful completion of the course student will be able to: specify basic developmental periods of European thinking;
interpret a connection between important philosophical conceptions;
characterize fundamental philosophical conceptions;
consider an influence of some philosophical conception over contemporary society;
to know some problems of global civilization and to be able to see their roots in philosophical background of western culture;
adopt knowledge for aplication of philosophy to the domain of kinantropology;
