Course objectives
The aim of the subject is to impove self-defense skills and to extend the knowledge and skills on defense against weapons.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course student should be able to - show basic self-defence techniques according to subject curriculum - understand and apply basic strategical, tactical and technical principles of self-defence - solve basic model self-defence situation - Is able to organize an educational unit, work with client, choose suitable communication tools, explain techniques and tactics of self-defence, lead the group and reach the objectives

  • 1. Strategical, tactical and technical principles of self-defence 2. Selection of techniques in self-defence 3. Basic combative techniques - punches - kicks - throws - joint locks 4. Defence against knife 5. Defence against short staff 6. Defence at gunpoint 7. Defence in disadvantaged position 8. Defence against group of attackers 9. Model self-defence situation 10. Didactics - educational unit of self-defence
