Course objectives
Yogalates belongs to the category Body and Mind exercises. Jogalates combines yoga and Pilates exercises. It is a slow-paced exercise, which focuses on the technique of performing individual exercises and on practicing correct breathing. Individual exercises are aimed at harmonizing the body, stretching shortened muscles, strengthening weakened muscle parts. The main goals of the educational process involve: - the improvement of the locomotive abilities and fitness, - the impact on the positive approach towards sports activities considered as the protection against conflicts, civilization diseases and stress, - the support of students healthy lifestyle, - the training of basic yoga poses and their varieties in configurations, mastering of yoga principles, training of the correct Pilates exercise performance, mastering of correct breathing.
Learning outcomes
Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to: - correctly perform basic yoga positions and exercises from the Pilates method, incorporate them into routines.

  • - introduction of basic yoga principles - introduction of basic poses - the bases of exercise and breathing techniques - training and mastering of basic configurations and their modifications - training and mastering of complex configurations - introduction of the basic principles of the Pilates method - the bases of the Pilates system - introduction of basic yogalates principles - training and mastering the basic configuration - practising the advanced methods
