Course objectives
At the end of this course the student will be able to understand the different levels of conceptualisation of security and shall be able to apply it on the concrete cases.

  • Strategic studies ans IR, Conceptualisation of security after WWII, English school, Copenhagen school, securitisation of migration, MUN, regional security, security and gender, human security.

Assessment methods
Students have to take part in the seminars and draft 2 position papers for every seminar (50%) based on the reading. At the end of the module, students have to pass written test based on the lectures(50%).
