- At the end of this course, students should be able to: know formulae of the lectoral system understand important theories about the influence of the electoral system on the party system

- I. Elections, right to vote and the research of the electoral systems 1. History of the elections 2. Classification of the electoral systems 3. Research of the electoral systems II. Electoral formulae a) majoritarian electoral systems b) semi-proportional electoral systems c) proportional electoral systems d) mixed electoral systems III. Electoral system of the Czech Republic 4. Development of the electoral system in the Czech lands 5. Discossion about the electoral reform in the Czech Republic Class resources are available to students through Masaryk University’s online Information System (IS).
