Course objectives
Introduction to student journalistic, documentary and other projects.
Acquainting students with the current digital imaging devices and their applications.
Acquisition of basic professional procedures.
Analysis of samples of audiovisual works.
Teach students the technical and methodological basics for their own production.
Learning outcomes
Learning outcomes: Skills - practical and functional - the student will be able to apply his / her technological and theoretical knowledge and apply it in practice, for example in the production of audio-visual reports, reports, interviews and other audiovisual units in the field. He will be able to solve basic problems of planning, production and realization of audiovisual journalistic units, will be able to create a production plan, short journalistic units. He will be able to lead a small journalistic team. Knowledge - the student acquires the theoretical and factual knowledge in the audiovisual field. The student will be able to enumerate the main topics of the taught subject, will be able to define the program formats, explain the theoretical basics, analyze the main typological features prevailing in the sphere of audiovisual journalism. General Competence - competencies - the student will be able to use the knowledge and skills in practice in audiovisual editorial offices while working as an audiovisual journalist on his own. The student can solve complex situations when working in the editorial office and in the field.
