Course objectives
Current ersearch in the area of social science is based upon application of rigorous methods. The aim of this course is to provide the students with basic analytical tools and methods that can be applied in the area of European Studies.
Learning outcomes
Student will be able to identify main analytical tools that can be used in the European studies research
Student will be able to draft appropriate methodology for course paper (as for example position paper)
Student will be able to to draft appropriate methodology for BA thesis
Student will be able to explain main weaknesess and strenghts of basic analytical tools appropriate in the European studies

Teaching methods
The course combines lectures and seminars.
Assessment methods
In order to pass this course, students have to gain at least 70 points from 100 available. Points can be obtained by delivering tasks assigned for particular seminars (60 points, 4x15 points), attending lectures (24 points, 8x3 points) and attending the seminars (16 points, 4x4 points).
