Course objectives
OBJECTIVES: - to facilitate practical experience in the field of HR management and development in selected organizations to motivated and talented students;
- to provide students feedback on their first practical work experience in professional positions;
- to provide employers/selected organizations chance to find and train new potential talents/emploees;
Group workshops and individual consultations provide an opportunity to confront the practical problems, which students experience during practice, with the theoretical concepts. The content of each workshop is focus on: the reflection of conditions for HR management; analyses of examples from practical experience; on training of basic skills and abilities which enable students to hold the position in HR management.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course students will be able:
- to aplly so far gained theoretical knowledge in the field of human resource development and management in practical situations in organizations
- to identify and analyse the condition of human resource management practice and practical problems of the current human resource development and management practice, and critically reflect them with the regard to their theoretical explanation
- to be oriented in managerial roles and tasks of the personnel departments in organizations, to reflect them and be able to perform them in the future
- to present and argue their suggestions and receive and give feedback

  • 1) Choosing an organisation and agreeing an internship • 2) Performance of the internship • 3) Active participation and presentation at seminars • Seminar Schedule: • 1) Introductory information on the course and internship, discussing the placement of students in organizations. • 2) Seminar: Organizational structure, organizational culture, HR strategy and the role of the HR department in the organisation • 3) Seminar: HR marketing and employer branding • 4) Seminar: HR planning, recruitment, selection, hiring, recruitment, selection, adaptation and dismissal of employees • 5) Seminar: Employee Evaluation, Compensation and Benefits in the organisation, training and development of employees • 6) Seminar: Quality of work life and building positive employee experience, conflict and stress in the workplace and its prevention and resolution • 7) Seminar: digital transformation of HR and HR Information Systems

Teaching methods
group and individual consultations; • 100 hours of direct traineeship in organizations; • reflection and analyses of practical experiences in the form of worksheets; presentations of worksheets; • playing special games developed for training of basic skills and abilities for HRM posititions
Assessment methods
Submission of the report with verbal assessment of student performance on the internship by trainers in the organization, • adoption worksheets on topics of group meetings, • presentation of one worksheet of your choice
