credits are awarded on the basis of (1) assistance in teaching 2 courses, (2) participation in so-called doctoral readings during the semester, and (3) a proof of publication or acceptance for publication of an article in the journal in the SCOPUS database, or a chapter in the monograph published in prestigious international publishing house located in the categories A*, A, or B of the FSS MU list (see https://www.fss.muni.cz/media/3065267/opatreni_fss_5_2018_soupis_stipendijnich_programu_fss_2018.pdf), or an article in the journal in the Web of Science database with an impact factor Q1-Q3 (for more details, see the text below). Prerequisite is passing the course POLd0003.

Course objectives
The goal is to give the student an insight into the world of teaching and to teach him how to work with students.
Learning outcomes
The student will have insight into teaching methods and will gain experience in leading seminars or evaluating final theses. The student will have knowledge on academic publishing.

The subject is implemented according to the rules defined by the Doctoral Study Program in Political Science valid in the relevant academic year. For the program, see Study materials of the subject, subsection Organizational instructions. Credits are awarded on the basis of teaching assistance in 1-2 subjects (standardly reading papers or seminar papers in one subject and conducting seminars in the other subject), participation in so-called doctoral readings during the semester plus according to the individual requirements of the supervisor.
