Abstract
At the beginning of the course, the student in cooperation with the teacher, chooses a methodological topic (and relevant studies) that is related to his/her dissertation. This topic is developed into a presentation that is then presented to other students in a seminar. Students then discuss methodological topics related to their dissertations in a seminar. The number of seminars depends on the number of registered students.
Learning outcomes
The course develops learning outcomes No.1, 3, 4, 5 and 6.
Key topics
The course has the form of regular seminar sessions with discussion of methodology-related topics related to both the media and journalism studies and, more directly, to students’ dissertation topics. The student is expected to demonstrate an understanding of the topic.
